Michael Moore has been a professional photographer for over 15 years. He began his career as a landscape artist and evolved his career from there. In 1994 Moore won the coveted John Noel Award for Mountaineering Photography. This became a major springboard to launch his editorial travel career. Moore spent the next 7 years shooting above and below water for major travel publications including National Geographic Adventure, CondeNast, Islands, Aqua just to name a few. In January of 2002 Moore began his commercial photography career. It happened over night, sort of. Through a series of chance meetings Moore picked up a rep. One week later he was shooting his first commercial assignment. Today he works as hard as ever being driven by his passion to discover and see the world in new ways. Moore's passion has evolved to include CGi which has led to the creation of his CGi company RenderUnit.com. Moore's based in Ventura, CA with his wife, three kids, two cats and four motorcycles.
